Artist Statement: A simple act can be powerful. Witness. It’s the one thing we can all do to connect. Through my Avian Taxidermy and Photography work I like to stir the curiosity each one of us has inside us. Death being a vehicle into freedom. Death being inescapable for all of us. Everyone understands this voice when it comes. It speaks with the same authority to All with one language. A moment, a witness to another’s life, we all are connected. Man holding nature in awe of its beauty. It’s all about love In the end. Witness one another’s life.

Mural Print: Digital collage reprinted on aluminum composite

Hanger free and suitable for any customized hanging or framing system. Weatherized print and suitable for indoor or outdoor display.

Artist Statement: Witness is a portrait of a girl in front of a bizarre background, her background, the past which she has witnessed. This colorful past is juxtaposed against her deadpan, stunned expression: that blank-eyed stare which so many of us get because we can't be present in the moment since it is all just too hard.

$2,400.00

4’h x 8’w

Original Mural: Acrylic on MDO panel

Hanger free and customizable for any hanging or framing system. Weatherized and suitable for indoor and outdoor display.

Artist Statement: Inspired by “ghost signs” where multiple layers of paint, and therefore time, are visible at once, I intentionally eroded this piece, creating an earth's-eye view where the present is a thin layer overshadowed by more enduring layers of first peoples, native species (wolverine, maple and milkweed), and forces of nature. It’s a meditation on the transience of the present, and our interdependence with the past. My deepest gratitude to those who advised me on tribal homelands and spellings.

4’ x 8’

Original mural: Acrylic & mixed media on MDO panel

Hanger free and customizable for any hanging or framing system. Weatherized and suitable for indoor or outdoor display.

Artist Statement: For “Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood” I needed to express my frustrations with the state of our country and world. We need something greater than individual actions to save us. Individuals can elect leaders they think will make a difference, but politicians do very little, serving corporate interests and worrying about reelection. And corporations can’t save us, because that isn’t good for shareholders. They might plant a tree, though. I use Hitchcock’s film “Rear Window” as a framework to illustrate this messed-up world.

Mixed Media Mural: Mixed media resin collage

Hanger free and suitable for any customized hanging or framing system. Weatherized print and suitable for indoor or outdoor display.

Artist Statement: My painting, “Songs from Time Immemorial” is based off a photo featuring Frank Mountain Chief (Blackfeet) and ethnomusicologist Francis Densmore. Francis Densmore traveled the US recording songs from different Tribal Nations and these songs are one of the first known recordings of the human voice. I chose the photograph that my painting is based off because I wanted a visual image to explore the relationships that different groups of people in our society have with each other and whether they hold space and attempt to understand people that are culturally different from them.

Artist Statement:

They explore for adventure

A journey through the trees,

Phases, shades of the sky,

To connect, a love

And the freedom to be

They explore for themselves

And the power to feel whole

To both forget and remember

A journey through the backroads home

Seeking passion and love through nature in bold ways.

Thank you Jen Bedell, Sierra McMurray, Heather Brooks, Meg Whicher, Brooke Hess, and Nyota Haley for becoming outdoor advocates and for participating in a project I will never forget.
